- 1999 qualified as a dental surgeon from the Institute of Odontology, Goteborg University, Sweden.
- Trained in dental Implantology, sedation and occlusion.
- 2002 took over a private patient list and operated in the City of London with the prestigious Harley Street dental group.
- 2008 and onwards, Dr. Antimos splits his professional time between the City of London practice and the in-house dental clinic in BP Sunbury.
- 2014 founded Richmond Dental Suite in George Street Richmond.
- 2017 Relocated and expanded the Dental Suite to the new purpose build and state-of-the-art premises in Heath Road Twickenham.
- 2019 Successfully quadrupled the amount of registered patients through word of mouth. Receiving a best professional practice award through the Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Antimos qualified in 1999 as a dental surgeon from the Institute of Odontology, Goteborg University in Sweden.
He has also completed post-graduate training in dental Implantology, sedation and occlusion. His training in occlusion has allowed him to easier identify and treat patients with bite problems and symptoms such as head, jaw, and neck aches.
Starting his career in Sweden he was privileged to work within large multi-disciplinary dental clinics, providing a wide range of high-quality dental treatments under one roof. Following some early leadership training and a team leadership approach, he adopted and further developed a modern and very effective way of managing the treatments of patients with more or less complex needs.
Having worked within family-orientated practices for a few years, treating patients of all ages, he was in 2002 offered to take over a private patient list from a retiring senior partner in the square mile. Dr Antimos started to operate in the City of London where he was treating private corporate dental patients and was until 2014 practicing as one of the dentists within the prestigious Harley Street dental groups city branch.
From 2008 onwards, Dr Antimos started to share his professional time between the City of London practice and the in-house dental clinic in BP Sunbury. Spending many years as a company dentist within one of BP’s largest office sites has given him a unique insight into the Oil and Gas industry's dental health needs and requirements towards dental fitness levels to qualify for off-shore postings and international travel.
After BP’s decision to close the dental services in the Sunbury Business Park, Dr Antimos moved and started to operate in Richmond. In 2014 he founded Richmond Dental Suite in order to offer a continual service for the several thousand patients he was part of treating over the years.
Dr Antimos has also served over 10 years as a board member, treasurer, and later as elected president of the Swedish Dental Society of England. He has arranged and taken part in numerous dental meetings and conferences in London and abroad. This has given him the privilege to meet and build excellent working relationships with many of his peers and other influential people in dentistry.
Outside his practice, Dr Antimos loves spending time with his young family and he will often be seen walking or cycling around Twickenham, Richmond, the Thames paths, and Royal parks. He also likes getting involved in the interior or exterior designs and home improvements. When time allows, he visits family in Sweden and Greece but does not mind an off-the-beaten-track holiday. He highly enjoys quality time with a book in one of the languages he speaks and likes to entertain friends and family with a barbecue and dinner.
